At Razny Jewelers, we pride ourselves on the rare designation of being an authorized repair service center for timepieces by Rolex and other world-renowned brands. Our certified watchmakers are all graduates of the Watchmakers of Switzerland Training & Education Program (WOSTEP) or the Swiss American Watchmakers Training Alliance (SAWTA). Within these exclusive courses, our experts learn how to maintain luxury timepieces from the top Swiss ateliers, and their initial training is supplemented with several weeks of courses annually. Because of these exceptional craftsmen, Razny Jewelers leads the industry in watch repair and servicing.

Essential Maintenance for Timepieces by Patek Philippe
A quick intervention can be provided by an authorized Service Center or a retailer accredited to provide Essential Maintenance, such as Razny Jewelers. Authorized services include battery replacement, water-resistance tests, strap replacements, bracelet length adjustments, and time setting for simple and complicated watches.

 

We are especially proud of our new state-of-the-art in-house watch repair center in downtown Chicago. Along with our two other facilities in Addison and Highland Park, this center is kept at a level of cleanliness fit for surgical instruments and stocked with cutting-edge tools.. As a Rolex Plaque Service Center, Rolex has authorized Razny Jewelers to provide a complete servicing of most Rolex timepieces. For timepieces from other brands, the services we provide include partial servicing and battery changes, both accepted on a case-by-case basis.

We must first examine your timepiece in person to provide an accurate estimate for any repair or servicing. This easy process allows us to be transparent in detailing what is needed and what you can expect. Please visit any of our four locations to speak with our experts.

We do. For Rolex timepieces requiring full servicing, we provide a two-year warranty.

We are happy to accept your timepiece at any of our four locations. Razny Jewelers in downtown Chicago (Gold Coast), Addison, and Highland Park are Rolex Plaque Certified. This certification means our watchmakers have been trained directly by Rolex to provide the Greater Chicago Area with the same high-quality care for which Geneva is known.

Our watchmakers are CW21 (Certified Watchmaker for the 21st Century) certified, in addition to being SAWTA or WOSTEP trained. Our Rolex Plaque Certification signifies that Rolex has qualified our team to provide the same world-class service set by Rolex watchmakers in Geneva.

Of course! We work with a wide variety of brands, but not all. Please note that services offered and prices vary on a case-by-case basis. We must examine your watch in person to provide accurate information.

For servicing fees, we accept credit cards, cash, and check. We do not collect a deposit upfront. After your estimate is presented, you may be asked to provide a deposit equaling 50% of the total service cost.

Battery replacement fees are $20 plus tax. Please note that this price applies to quick battery replacement only. Additional battery servicing may require a quote from our team.

Timeframes vary depending on many factors, including the type of service provided and the availability of parts. Please expect more information along with your estimate.

Generally, a crystal replacement will require a complete service. We ask that you please bring your watch into our store so that we may evaluate and confirm the needed services.
