The first biannual Wedding Band Weekend was a huge success! April 22 nd and 23rd, 2017, at Razny Jewelers’ Addison boutique, the event was modeled as a miniature bridal expo. It exceeded expectations as bridal vendors and professionals brought their A-game.
Scores of blushing brides-to-be, and their fetching fiancés, flowed into the spacious boutique. Shelves were stocked with hard-to-find, seldom-seen bands, and mountings. For two days only, Razny Jewelers held the largest collection of platinum, gold, diamond, and custom wedding bands from top names such as Bez Ambar and Penny Preville.
Chicagoland’s top wedding professionals provided hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, and raffle prizes: a two-night stay at Virgin Hotels Chicago, $200 toward a wedding cake order from Delish Cakes, a gift certificate from Belvedere Events and Banquets, a case of wine from Limelight, and a plethora of other details any bride would be eager to check from her list. The pièce de résistance? A chance to borrow $25,000 worth of designer jewelry for the big day, provided by Razny Jewelers.
Special event pricing fueled the shopping frenzy as many felt the need to ‘get it or regret it when it came to the ring of their dreams.
“We were here yesterday too!”
Goodie bags stuffed with champagne, wine glasses, and gift certificates greeted the first 25 in attendance each day. A single red rose, provided by Design de Flores, was offered to each guest as a parting gift. Thanks to Exquisite Limousine, the festivities continued to the parking lot, where a party bus and stretch Hummer were displayed grandly.
More than a few couples confessed to attending both days.
