I thought we were on our way to celebrate my birthday at the London House in Chicago. Little did I know I was moments away from being engaged to the love of my life. We stepped out onto the rooftop, still clueless at this point, until I saw the rose petals placed on the ground on a private cupola. Sal proposed to me with the most beautiful ring, as tears of joy ran down my face. It was the perfect engagement for me and the happiest moment of my life.
