Kevin and I started dating in college, over 4.5 years ago. A majority of our relationship has been long-distance, and we currently live on different sides of the country. On December 20th, Kevin surprised me with a romantic getaway to Denver, CO. As an early birthday present, he took me on a sleigh ride through the woods in Breckenridge. In the middle of our sleigh ride, we stopped to take some photos, and before I knew it, he was down on one knee. We had never spoken about rings or about when to get married, so I was absolutely shocked. After several happy tears, I said yes. I could not have asked for a better surprise or planned a more perfect proposal. I'm thrilled with the ring and overjoyed to spend my life with such a wonderful man.
