One beautiful May afternoon, Shane took me to a picnic at Kenlake State Park. He made sure that it included some of my favorite foods. We had the best time just talking, looking at the beautiful scenery, and just being with each other. Little did I know that Shane had a bigger plan when he handed me a gift. It was a retro View-Master with pictures of us from our very first picture together. The last photo was of the engagement ring! I pulled the viewer down from my eyes, and he was there, on one knee! This was the moment I had prayed for all of my life, but I never dreamed that I would be so blessed to find someone like Shane and be able to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.
