A Day to Remember in The City of Lights
This week’s featured love story comes from two who found each other in paradise before popping the question in The City of Lights. Here’s John and Sarah:
Sarah and I met when I was living in Hawaii, working at a resort where Sarah and her family were staying. Right away I noticed she had a great personality, and an amazing smile. Before she left for home, I asked her out for dinner. We exchanged personal info and keep in touch, even flying frequently between Hawaii and San Diego.
Can you please describe your proposal in detail?
We were in Paris for vacation. I told her that I arranged a special tour of the Palace of Versailles and we’d need to be dressed up. Since Versailles is outside of Paris I said we would need to meet the tour bus in the morning at The Trocadero. When she arrived and no one else was there, she assumed we arrived early. I suggested we take a photo near the Eiffel Tower. Secretly, I had arranged for a photographer ahead of time. After finding the perfect spot, I got on one knee to propose. She said yes! We spent the rest of the morning taking engagement photos around the area.
What a perfect start to an amazing happily ever after!
