I had the honor to hold the title of the “Queen of the Polish Highlanders Alliance of North America” for two years, and it was one of my responsibilities to organize a charity ball. The ball took place at the exact location where we met four years ago, a banquet hall called “Dom Podhalan.” The day of my charity ball was a special one. It was the biggest event of my reign, and Patrick proposed! After dinner, Patrick surprised me by walking in with musicians onto the dancefloor and getting down on one knee in front of the 500 people in attendance that night. It was truly a magical experience, and my ring is just as, if not more, magical!!!
