Brian and I met in the summer of 2014, in the backyard of a mutual friend’s house. We were instantly attracted to one another and shared the same values and personal goals. However, nothing came of 'us' because at the time I was in a different relationship, and Brian was attending college and playing football in Wisconsin.
As time passed, we lost contact and didn’t see each other again for a few years. I thought about Brian often, wishing we dated!
In 2017, I reached out to Brian on social media to see how he was, and he told me he had moved in with a friend close to my parents’ house. I invited him out for drinks with one of my friends and, surprisingly, he showed up! We instantly reconnected as if we had known each other for years. I was hopeful (and determined) that I would see him consistently, this time!
On the fourth of July, I threw a pool party where Brian had the chance to meet all of my friends. The two of us were inseparable the entire day — talking, laughing, kissing, and just enjoying each other’s company. Our natural connection had all my friends talking! A few months later, we moved in together, and our relationship grew stronger and stronger every day.
A few months into our relationship, we both knew we were a match made for each other. Although we always talked about eventually getting married, I thought it would be a few years until he popped the question.
On November 2, 2019, Brian proposed to me on Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona, in front of our friends and family!
I was so shocked and excited that the man of my dreams had asked me to be his FOREVER. My gold solitaire engagement ring from Razny Jewelers was my ultimate dream ring and everything I could have hoped for! He did an amazing job, with the help of Matt from Razny in Addison.
Thank you for helping the love of my life choose the right engagement ring for our big moment!!!!
